About Artemis Design
Hello. I’m Molly Holland. I run Artemis Design, a brand strategy and identity development studio based in Denver Colorado. I provide clarity + branding solutions to spirited RIA’s.
I'm an 80's kid passionate about helping imaginative and ambitious people create powerful brands. With 25 years of design experience, mostly in financial services, I think it’s time we collectively retire the practically anonymous tone many financial advisory firms adopt. It’s my job to inspire clients to go big and be proud to plant a flag that truly represents their unique viewpoint.
“Nothing will stop you being creative so effectively as the fear of making a mistake”
–John Cleese
Artemis manifesto
I believe brands in wealth management can do better.
I believe wealth management has become a sea of sameness, where every brand blends into an endless parade of mountaintops, lighthouses, and silver-haired couples walking on beaches.
I believe one clear, powerful idea is worth more than a dozen forgettable taglines. The RIA space doesn't need another brand promising "comprehensive solutions" or "trusted guidance." It needs voices willing to stand for something specific.
I believe your brand should feel like a conversation with a trusted advisor who's smart enough to know their stuff, and secure enough to say it without hiding behind jargon. Clarity isn't just about being understood – it's about having the confidence to strip away the corporate speak until only the truth remains.
I believe you can be professional without being boring, sophisticated without being stuffy, and successful without looking like every other firm in your zip code.
I believe your brand should be as independent as your business model. If you've chosen to build something different from the wirehouses and big banks, your brand should reflect that courage – not just in what you say, but in how you say it.
Artemis’s Values
Simplicity.
I achieve success by partnering with clients to solve complex challenges by removing all the extra distractions. What’s the human problem you need to solve? Getting to the core and being ruthlessly honest with what needs to be expressed is crucial to success. Less is usually more.
Depth.
There’s nothing wrong with enjoying a little eye candy, but the art of “make it pretty” is not what an Artemis project begins with. Foundational and strategic decisions are made from the beginning so projects are developed with more than surface level solutions in mind.
Openness.
I thrive in an environment built on transparency and mutual respect. Plain talk with open communication and curiosity affords everyone involved more time, more growth, and more opportunity to get it right.
